The inaugural World Overflight Risk Conference 2024 is a landmark event presented by Osprey Flight Solutions, the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the University of Southampton’s Department of Decision Analytics and Risk, providing a platform to collectively address and navigate the dynamic challenges posed by overflight risk.
In an industry first, the conference will bring together the three key stakeholders— regulators, operators, and insurers with the support of academia. This will enable us to break down silos and collectively ensure a safer and more efficient future for aviation.
The main objective of this conference is to support the aviation industry in shaping the future of overflight risk management. While the conference itself is a significant event, our aspirations extend far beyond its immediate duration.
